Types Of Flowering Plants:
There are majorly three main types of flowering plants:
- Annuals:- These flowering plants complete it's life cycle in whole year, produces flowers and seeds before dying off, examples of these plants can be, sunflower, jute and okra.
- Biennials:- These plants take two years to complete their cycle, it majorly produce vegetatively in their first years, and produces flowers and seeds in the second year, for example carrot, cabbage and radish.
- Perennials:- These plants lives for multiple years and rapidly produces flowers and seeds, examples for perennials are ginger and lilies.
Useful flowering Plants:
Some famous and useful flowering plants are as follows:
- Sunflowers:- Knows for it's large, bright yellow flowers and it's seeds are edible, people use it's seeds for many purposes, you can use it's raw seeds for health benefits too.
- Lavender:- Purple flower with a soothing, calming and light fragrance, which comes under uses of perfumes and potpourri.
- Jasmine:- These flowers are white in color, often used in perfumes and teas.
- Daisy:- A classic, beautiful and cheerful flower often comes in use of arrangements and preparing bouquets.
